Welcome to the Cabyn dev blog

October 29, 2026 · 3 min read
If you’re new here: Cabyn is an AI workspace for marketing and content teams, built and run by Boundless Digital. It’s a chat that does the work rather than just talking about it: SEO content written in bulk, a ranked shortlist of which pages to update next, and an AI teammate that connects to the tools your team already uses.
This blog is where we write up what changes in Cabyn. Every time we ship a release, you’ll get a post on what’s new, why we built it, and what it means for the way you work. No “we’re excited to announce” filler, and no hiding the rough edges. If something ships with a known issue, we’ll say so.
How Cabyn versions work
We use semantic versioning, a common convention where the version number tells you how big a release is before you read a word of it. That way you can tell at a glance whether an update changes how you work, adds something new, or only fixes things.
MAJOR
A fundamental change to how Cabyn works
MINOR
A meaningful new feature
PATCH
Fixes and polish
Every release has a version number in three parts, MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH:
- MAJOR (
3.0.0): a fundamental change to how Cabyn works. - MINOR (
2.3.0): a meaningful new feature. - PATCH (
2.3.1): fixes and polish.
So if you see 2.3.0, you know it’s a feature release. If you see 2.3.1, it’s a smaller update on top of it.

v2.3.0: Skills, Files & More
- What's new
- Why we built it
- Under the hood
- What's next
- Known issues
Each release is tagged on GitHub with its version number, and each release gets a post here, titled with that version. Patch posts will be short. Minor and major posts go deeper.
Every post follows the same rough shape:
- What’s new: the changes you’ll notice, grouped by area.
- Why we built it: the problem behind the change.
- Under the hood: for the technically curious, the changes that don’t make headlines but matter.
- What’s coming next, and any known issues.
Following along
New posts show up on the dev blog page, and there’s an RSS feed if you’d rather read them in your feed reader.
Next up is the write-up of 2.3.0: Skills, workspace files, and a round of Programmatic SEO improvements.
If you have questions or something you’d like us to cover, reach out. We read everything.
